We want everyone to be able to use Britvia, including people who use assistive technologies.

1. About this statement
This statement applies to the Britvia website at britvia.co.uk, operated by ApexLogic Labs Ltd.
2. Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where reasonably achievable. The website has not been independently audited or certified, so we do not claim full conformance.
3. What we do
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, landmarks and a skip link.
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with labels, hints and error messages linked to their inputs, plus an error summary.
- Text and interface colours checked against AA contrast requirements in our automated tests.
- Readable typography that works when text is enlarged.
- Key controls, such as form buttons and cookie choices, sized as comfortable touch targets.
- Respect for reduced-motion settings.
4. How we test
Our automated test suite checks key pages and journeys, including the assessment and consultation forms, for serious accessibility issues using axe, and we review pages with Lighthouse accessibility audits. Automated tools cannot find every problem, so we also welcome feedback.
5. Known limitations
- Third-party content, such as the Calendly scheduler, may not fully meet our standard.
- Documents provided by universities or other organisations, such as PDFs, may not be accessible.
- Some tables of information need horizontal scrolling on small screens.
6. Alternative formats and help
If you need information in a different format, such as large print or plain text, or need help completing a form, contact us and tell us what you need.
7. Report a problem
Tell us through our contact form, including the page address and what you were trying to do. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
8. Review of this statement
We last reviewed this statement on 14 September 2026. We review it at least once a year and after significant changes to the website.
