Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use Britvia, including people who use assistive technologies.

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, landmarks and a skip link.
  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
  • Form fields with labels, hints and error messages linked to their inputs, plus an error summary.
  • Text and interface colours chosen to meet AA contrast requirements.
  • Respect for reduced-motion settings.
  • Automated accessibility checks in our test suite on key pages and journeys.

Known limitations

Documents that you or universities provide, such as scanned PDFs, may not be accessible. If you need information in another format, please ask.

Feedback

If you find a problem, please tell us through our contact form, including the page address and what you were trying to do. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
