Who writes our guidance

Every guide and article names its author and reviewer. Our guidance is led by our founder, whose background is in UK higher education, research and computing.

Sources we rely on

• Visa, immigration and ATAS information comes from GOV.UK and is linked on the page.
• Course facts such as fees, intakes and entry requirements come from official university pages.
• Scholarship details come from the scholarship provider, such as Chevening or the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission.
• We do not use other agents or consultancies as sources for facts.

Review dates

Pages covering fees, visas, scholarships and entry requirements show when they were last reviewed. Course and university information is flagged for review when it has not been verified recently, rather than silently left online.

What we will not publish

• Guarantees of admission, offers, scholarships or visas.
• Testimonials, success rates or student numbers that we cannot evidence.
• Claims of accreditation, official status or university partnerships that do not exist.
• Personalised immigration advice. For that, speak to a regulated immigration adviser.

Independence and commercial relationships

Britvia may in future receive payments from universities under recruitment agreements. Such relationships never decide what we write, and we disclose them. Read how Britvia is paid.

Corrections

If you think something on our website is wrong or out of date, please tell us through our contact page. We review reported errors promptly and update the page and its review date when we make a correction.
