Data trust

The rules behind our information and your data

Two promises: information you can check, and data you control.

University, course and scholarship information

  • Every course fact links to the official university page it came from.
  • Every record shows when it was last checked, and has a date for its next review.
  • Information past its review date is marked as due for review instead of being shown as current.
  • Only information we have verified is listed. We would rather show nothing than guess.
  • A university is shown as an official Britvia partner only when a verified agreement exists.
  • Automated tools never supply fees, deadlines, entry requirements, scholarships or course availability.

How Britvia researches and reviews information

Your information

  • We ask only for what helps us guide you: contact details, education, English test, study goals and a budget range. Never passport numbers, identity documents or bank details.
  • Email updates, WhatsApp updates, information from universities and research are separate choices, all off unless you turn them on.
  • We share your details with a university only when you ask to hear from that university and confirm it. You can withdraw at any time.
  • We do not sell student data.
  • Analytics never includes names, email addresses or phone numbers, and runs only if you allow it.
  • Each student can see and change only their own information. You can download your data or delete your account yourself.
