Cookie Policy
We keep cookies to a minimum, never use advertising cookies and only load analytics if you agree.
Last updated: 14 September 2026 · Version
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the website to work securely, so they do not require consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Keeps you securely signed in to your student account | Session, refreshed while you are signed in |
| bv_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 180 days |
Where we enable Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to prevent spam and abuse, it checks browser signals when you use the form. This is used only for security.
3. Analytics cookies (optional)
If you accept analytics, we load Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page views and performance without advertising cookies. We also store the page you first arrived on and any campaign link you followed in your browser's local storage, so we can understand which guides help students. Nothing is loaded until you choose to accept.
4. Functional cookies
If you choose to open our Calendly scheduler to book a consultation, Calendly loads on the page and may set its own cookies so that booking works. It does not load until you choose to open it.
5. Marketing cookies
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites for advertising.
6. Third-party services
Third parties only set cookies through our website for the analytics services listed above, when enabled and only with your consent, and for Calendly, only when you open the scheduler. Once you follow a link to another website, such as WhatsApp, a university or GOV.UK, that website's own cookie policy applies.
7. Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time. Choosing necessary cookies only stops analytics and optional monitoring from running.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the website, such as signing in, may then not work.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we add or change technologies. The version and last-updated date are shown at the top of this page.
