Creative computing treats code as a medium. Students build interactive installations, generative visuals, new musical instruments, games, immersive experiences and experimental interfaces, and study the theory and ethics of technology in culture.

- Include technical evidence such as repositories or documented builds if the course is technical.
- Explain the questions that drive your practice and connect them to the course's research areas.
- Computer science graduates should show creative intent; artists and designers should show technical commitment.
Where creative computing can lead
Graduates work as creative technologists, interaction and experience designers, games and immersive media developers, audio programmers and researchers, and some continue to doctoral study. Because the field is broad, your projects and portfolio matter as much as the degree title when you apply for roles.
